Neutrality and flexibility are key concepts for Fremtind Grotesk. We found a middle ground between a lot of European sans-serif types. This means the types look familiar, but are inspired by a long pedigree of modern neogrotesks. The hope is that this makes the identity flexible enough to work with both DNB and Sparebank1. The type family comes in a series of complementary faces: the Display style is for big use; the Text styles are for any and all running text; finally, the Mono style is for tables and call-outs. The Display style is more condensed, while the Text styles are set more spaciously.
