Challenge

One of Sweden’s biggest selling authors, Camilla Läckberg, came to SDG with a challenge. For her new book release (following the successful release of the Fjällbacka series), she desired a book cover that would build anticipation and excitement, and that could allure to something from the plot. On top of that and perhaps even more importantly, was to make a book cover that would stand out in the genre – and amongst other books.  

Solution

A book cover with new and old references, a (dangerous) symbol from the plot, and a color that would make most people pay attention (or even better turn around). We delivered a strong execution that will be talked about for a long time, and that will follow Camilla Läckberg’s new book series down the line.

Impact

The pre-launch of the book has in the beginning of 2019 been tremendously well-received. Even Swedish podcast duo Alex & Sigge couldn’t stay away from the topic. It’s been spread through social media and revealed by the author herself
